Here's a recent painting
that's been years in the making.
During a slump in art productivity,
Brother Colin gave me some encouragement
and some money to keep at it.
The only thing, though,
I neglected to paint anything for him.
Well, I did a John Muir thing a couple of years ago.
It wasn't quite right and got painted over.
Finally this Joshua Tree thing came about.
Acrylic and Gel on panel.
Right now the painting is stalled
somewhere on 18th Street. . .
Trying to make it to Sacramento soon.
